Sheep breeding and farm controlling system for Bakonszegi Awassi Co. Ltd. - 2006
Tasks:
Web based farm controlling system (WebBariska) has been developed based on - not only in Hungary but also in Europe - unique RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology on commission of Awassi Co. Ltd.
The identification data relevant to individual sheeps are stored in unique RFID chips placed under their skin. The data recording and reading of the chips are managed through SD (Secure Digital) standard RFID reading/writing card inserted into PDA palm computers with the help of a client program developed on PDA.
Rearing data are digitally recorded in PDA on the spot that can be accessed immediately on the farm controlling program running on the farm’s central computer.
Data syncronizations between PDA palm computers and the central system are realized by mobile technology (WIFI, bluetooth or mobile internet.
